UPDATE: Nigeria Customs Service Reschedules Pre-Test for Superintendent Cadre Applicants

 Few days ago the website of the Nigerian Custom Service (NCS) broke down because of the over load traffic across Nigeria for the pre-Test.

NCS announces new schedule for shortlisted Superintendent Cadre candidates, with strict compliance required for assigned batches and times.

According to applicants who expressed their worries over not been able to access the NCS portal for the pre-test that was held on 23rd September 2025, which Alot of shortlisted Applicant was devastated from 3pm the pre-Test started till 8pm the website was still unavailable to be accessed, and while some who was able to write could not submit.

In the early hour of today been 25th September 2025, the Nigerian Custom Service (NCS) announces the re-scheduled of the pre-Test which means that the last one was cancelled and has been prosponded according to batches, date and time. 

NCS has pleaded and advised all the shortlisted Superintendent Cadre to check the batch in which they are to use their NIN.

And also advised Inspectorate And Assistant Cadres not to participate during this test as they will be contacted for theirs.

RE-SCHEDULED NCS PRE-TEST (SUPERINTENDENT CADRE ONLY)

Due to earlier challenges, the Pre-Test has been re-scheduled for shortlisted Superintendent Cadre applicants who received the earlier email. Candidates have been grouped into four batches (A, B, C & D).

Applicants of the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres will be contacted later for their Pre-Test.

All shortlisted Superintendent Cadre candidates should use their NIN to check their Batch, Date, and Time. Via https://updates.customs.gov.ng

Strict compliance with your assigned Batch and Time is mandatory. Failure will lead to disqualification.

Inspectorate & Assistant Cadre applicants should NOT log in at this stage.

The Pre-Test does not affect your recruitment outcome, it is only meant to help candidates familiarize themselves with the system and aid proper planning of the exercise.

All shortlisted Superintendent Cadre candidates should kindly note that Pre-Test Link is the same as the one earlier sent
